The Mancos Fire Department is offering reflective address signs for all properties. These meet requirements of the HOA covenants and enable fire trucks, police, or amubulance crews to find residents in case of an emergency. We are providing the form for your convenience.(Update: Cost is now $5 higher than the fee listed on this form. Please contact the the Mancos Fire Department for updated prices. If you have the updated form, please email it to the fire committee.)

Procedure for CMR Fire Strike Force Team. The list is broken into 4 parts: spotters, coordinators, fire fighters, and fire fighters with ATV’s. Although we have a list of spotters, we emphasize that all CMR residents be on the lookout for fire. Most of our designated spotters are on the ridges where the view is great in all directions. If you see a fire: (1) call the fire department with the location; (2) notify the coordinator starting at the top of the list. If you cannot reach the first one, continue down the list until you get someone. The coordinator will send out the fire fighters and coordinate communications with the team. Please keep the Coordinator List handy during our fire season.

There have been several lightening-caused fires around the subdivision during fire season. Please see the minutes and Summer Newsletter for more information. Efforts have been made to notify those nonresident lot owners that have been affected, particularly by larger fires in unmitigated lots.
